The Interactive Fisheries Museum in Biskupin was established as a private initiative of dr inż. Henryk Sobolewski. The landscape of the region was shaped by the Scandinavian ice sheet. There are many lakes with a varied shoreline, including the famous Gopło Lake. Due to the characteristic low location, Kujawy has a specific, very pleasant climate. Green forests grow between the wide fields and small valleys and steams stretch between the highlands.
