It's a great place - both for lovers of technical history and for tourists, also the youngest who have a passion for railways, especially steam locomotives. The Venice Museum is one of the largest narrow-gauge railway open-air museums in Europe with a gauge of 600 mm. Dozens of unusual exhibits have been gathered here - among others 17 historic steam locomotives (the oldest comes from 1899, several more from World War I), wagons of various purposes - goods, passenger, hand and motor draisines. The exhibition is complemented by railway infrastructure: a historic waiting room, a liner kiosk with a barrier, tracks with switches, switches, a water crane used to top up the water level in locomotive boilers, a turntable enabling change of direction. In the summer senon (from May to September) an interesting event is always organized on the second Saturday of the month - Venice Night with Steam Locomotives. The show is unusual - can be seen only after dark. Properly prepared lighting arrangement makes the Museum acquire a unique atmosphere, which is additionally emphasized by selected music. Opening hours: Open daily. Season - hours 9-18, out of season 10-14 or after prior notification. Tickets: 8 PLN normal, 6 PLN reduced, guide service - 45 PLN
