Inowrocław lies on a huge salt charge, which had a huge impact on the development of the city. At a depth of 4500 to about 6000 m below the Inowrocław Plain, salt is a remnant of the Zechstein Sea existing here 210 million years ago. On the underground Kuyavian hump, running along the upper reaches of the Noteć, the salt formed a dugout, which raised a hill rising 10-20 m above the Inowrocław Plain (about 90 m a.s.l.). In 1875 a spa was established, in which local natural resources are still used: salt and brine. Patients also benefit from the benefits of a graduation tower in which brine is used for medicinal purposes. A walk near the graduation tower should be treated as a therapeutic procedure, it can also be a pleasure, because there is beautiful vegetation all around. In the spa graduation tower complex there is also a place for active rest: 18 mini-golf courses, three bowling lanes and chess tables are available to guests. A short distance there are tennis courts, an outdoor gym, children's playground and rope park. The graduation tower is also used for shows and concerts.
