The Art Nouveau wooden building was built in 1891. year. The author of the project was Schimmelfennig. In 1901 a brick stage was built and the auditorium was supplemented with a balcony and 2 lodges. Warsaw theaters donated used decorations and armchairs to the newly opened facility. Mainly opera performances, operettas and comedies were staged here. In addition to the lighter repertoire, dramas such as Ibsen's Feathers also appeared on the stage. The building is one of three wooden buildings of this type in Europe. From 1984 entered in the register of monuments. In 1998 the theater building passed a restaurant.
