Przyjezierze is a well-known tourist and recreation complex located by the Bydgoszcz - Konin route. Administratively, this town is located in the commune of Lake Wielkie in the Mogilno poviat, Kuyavian-Pomeranian voivodeship. The tourist complex is located on the Ostrowskie Lake, among the Miradzkie Forests and covers an overall area of ​​about 40 ha, of which 7 ha is located in the commune of Strzelno. Przyjezierze together with surrounding towns belongs to the Miradzkie Forests Protected Landscape Area. The Miradzkie forests complex has stands of a species structure similar to natural forests, among which pines and oaks dominate. The city is visited by a large number of tourists for whom crystal clear water remains for a long time. Tourists have at their disposal holiday homes, summer camp centers and campsites. In order to secure the tourists' needs, a well-developed service and catering base was established within the complex. Tourists who prefer active leisure can use the water equipment rental and the 50-meter water slide. Safety at the beach is supervised by the WOPR Team No. 4, and the bathing beach has won the title of "Bathing Beach of the Year" several times. A significant advantage of Przyjezierz is the specific microclimate appreciated by regulars. The waters of Ostrowskie Lake also provide excellent conditions for fishing, while the surrounding forests are a paradise for hunters. Especially in autumn, Przyjezierze is an ideal place for people looking for silence among the forests - mushroom pickers, ornithologists, as well as artists looking for inspiration. The dynamic development of the center began in 1963. when the Presidium of the PRN in Mogilno established the Poviat Sports, Tourism and Recreation Center in Mogilno by resolution No. 20/56/63. In 1965 electrification of the center was completed and performances of "Poznań Nightingales" under the direction of S. Stuligrosz were held on this occasion. In 1966 a water supply system was launched to supply Przyjezierze and surrounding villages. The mass influx of tourists, mainly on weekends, meant that the commune authorities appointed from 01.01.1983. an independent administrator and coordinator of the center - the Municipal Sports and Recreation Center in the Great Lakes with headquarters in Przyjezierz. In order to protect the environment, the Water and Sewage Company was established, and in 1992. sewage treatment plant in Przyjezierz was commissioned.
